The Hummingbird is my all time favorite bird. You will see them in many of my paintings. They have a beauty and mystery and an unpredictability that intrigues me.  The way they hover, fly backwards and dart every which way is amazing. Here's one diving into a Hibiscus flower.

Sunflowers!  Inspired by the Summer Solstice parade that take place every year in Santa Barbara. Feeling very high-spirited, this was the result!
